In topic we have been learning about the beautiful mind. In our
class we had to crate a learning slogan, ours is CAUTION MEGAMINDS ATWORK!!!
this is the things we learned.

I am a right brain learner I am very creative. I am also a kinesthetic learner
the means getting up and doing things. The other learning styles are Auditory and
Visaul learners. Auiditory is when you like hearing things. Visual larners are people who like to see things. Here is my info report on artists.

Artists This is my Information Report
Artists are people who create artwork. They create their artwork in many ways. A lot of artists like to do their work using sketching pencils and coloured pencils. Paint is another way artist do their work. Artists put a lot of time into their work. They always like their work around.

The education you need to become an artist involves art and design classes. It helps to take art classes at school and even maybe out as well. When your finished high school you can go into the art and design unit at university. You will find most universities have them. You can also learn from a local artist living in the community.
How much money do artists get paid?, It depends on what kind of artist you are. According to the census in 2006 artists, craftsman and sculptors earned an average of $24,900 a year. Artists and craftsman have no established rates. It depends on what you sell your art for and if it sells. Most artists are self employed and sell their work through galleries.
The path for an artist… is their even one? To be an artist there is no particular path or route you have to take. You can teach yourself or you could even get someone to teach you. The career path for an artist is truly challenging. It can take you into many different paths.
There are many things artists do to help the community. Artists are especially good for painting and decorating the boring old green power boxes around. They make the town very beautiful by using their wonderful skills to create the most amazing designs on things e.g a plain wall which could do with some designs. They are also the perfect people to call if kindergartens or play centres want a mural on the wall. They will do an awesome job.
Why this career will suit me, well I am a right brain learner. A right brain learner is someone who is very creative and spontaneous. I really like to make drawings and paintings of my own. I also love working with paints, colouring pencils etc. I am a very spontaneous person and I love art so I think this career will suit me.
There is a rather big amount of highlights for an artist. When an artist accomplishes their work it’s always good because then you can get it ready to sell and move onto another piece of work. They love it when their work sells because that means they get money. Artists also like it when tourists and members of the public come and ask questions and say they love the artwork the artists have created.
There aren’t very many lowlights being an artist. Artists never like it when people come in and make complaints, but they listen to what they didn’t like and try to improve their work. Trying to get people to buy your work is very hard. For some artists finding the money to get the materials to do their artwork is difficult.
Every artist’s day is very different but here is an example of an artist’s day. You wake up at 7 a.m have breakfast and get yourself ready for your day at work. When you are ready you might go into town and drop your child off to school (if you have one) and do some jobs in town. At 10 a.m you could have a private painting lesson. That would go on for 2 hours and when that’s finished you would go home and have some lunch. Then finally at 1 p.m it’s time to get into doing your artwork. By the time 6 p.m you will probably be hungry so you have some dinner. When you have finished eating you’ll be back doing your art and at about 11 p.m you will start cleaning up then go to bed.
Artists love seeing their work around. Some even own their own gallery. Artists do everything the can to improve their work.

On Tuesday 14 June our class dissected a cows eyeball. It was yuck but very interesting. We had to be very carfull using the scalpulls and scissors because they were very sharp and we didn't want to cut ourselves.
